ATTENTION: Guys, I want to apologize for my slacking here. This has been a great place to discuss FITX, and we've always had a great group of people here to keep it that way in an overall neutral manner, minus some bashers that sneak in on occasion.
I've received several PMs from people with concerns of some posters who typically come off as pro-FITX posters, other times anti-FITX posters, who some feel are using the board to swing trade and flip FITX. This same exact problem was happening on the private FB FITX page and those people (several of whom typically appeared very pro-FITX) were outed and ejected by the group by the mods who run that board.
I've very much enjoyed discussing all things FITX here, but the board has grown significantly since it began. Quite honestly, I don't have the time to monitor and read the board much anymore due to lack of time with my day to day schedule and other duties, and haven't for some time (as I'm sure you've noticed). I apologize for that.
With that said, I am going to give up my mod position to someone who does have the time to monitor the board in a fair and neutral manner. The mod position is really no different than the assistant mod positions. None of us can ban people. Only admin can do that. The only difference is the mod can add or take away assistant mods.
However, there seems to be some concern and discrepancy about who is truly a long vs. who is using the board for their own greed by flipping and swing trading. So, I want to hear from the general board members of who they feel would be the most appropriate person to fill the primary mod position based on their observed history of that person's posting and apparent true FITX long status. We want another true FITX long to fill the spot, but one that tolerates a fair and neutral discussion of all issues. There is a difference between allowing that vs. allowing subtle or not so subtle bashing. We don't want this board to become full of crooked mods like ihub, who use it to their own agenda of greed and secretly (or not so secretly) trying to bash the company and then capitalize on price drops.
If you feel strongly about someone that can be trusted to fill this position, who has been here for a long time and proven themselves, please let me know. I'll take tallies based on responses and decide from there.
