That's a valid question. I personally only buy on dips at the bottom of the trade range since I am accumulating. If I was going to sell I would keep a core position and sell only a calculated portion at the top of the trade range. This is contrary to day trading in that I target only the bottom (accumulation) and the top of trade ranges based on TA
