Hop-on is attending the HK Electronics Fair 2014Dear Hop-on Shareholder, I have not forgot about our new shareholders meeting I promised. Hop-on has been working hard on bringing products to market utilizing our Microsoft Android and Chrome OS agreement. We have be working strategically on some specific Android and other bundled consumer electronics that will be a huge success globally.Hop-on will have a booth in the Convention Hall and be focused on servicing especially Chinese ODM and OEMs towards market entry requirements for American and European markets. Our services cover conceptualizing of better and more innovative products, licenses, patent registrations, logistics, support and gaining retail agreements. These are clear weak points for the vast majority of the Chinese electronics industry when they aim at expanding into America’s and European markets. While the Chinese electronics industry is today world-leading in low cost high volume manufacturing targeting high quality standards, it is still far behind when it comes to getting innovation onboard the process and support getting such innovation turned into business through patents and licenses. Hop-on can combine the staff’s deep experiences in creating innovative products matching consumer expectations in America and Europe with our equally deep experiences in turning the innovation into patents and seek license agreements from competition when possible. Our approach will include the concept of “Open Innovation” where we can effectively bridge Chinese companies with the foreign leading and typically more innovative component and software vendors. In today’s world of Chinese Electronics manufacturing, typically these companies buy off-the-shelf components and software yielding no effective differentiation rather than using the Open Innovation approach seeking earlier involvement in defining the critical components and software to accommodate their ideas and need for differentiated products. We will focus mostly on companies doing smart devices involving the Android operating system for a number of good reasons. Foremost, our recently signed agreement with Microsoft concerning Android and Chrome licenses enables us to offer a unique license package to vendors that makes their products compliant with the license terms necessary to gain access to the major retailers. Additionally, with Android being the all dominating operating system reaching more than a billion units sold globally this year (Gartner’s forecast is 1.17 billion) we are exactly at the right timing for turning our Android license package into successful business.During the show, I will be sending all short videos on Twitter for your review.I look forward in sharing our progress in the market.Thank you for your support,Peter Michaels
