A partnership might also extend to the local production of CBD for sales in Europe and elsewhere. And of course, there's the possibility of MMJ production in Ukraine - isn't it nice that, in addition to garnering support from the top Ukrainian trade officials, Bill has managed to enlist the aid of the top Ukrainian drug control official!
Despite continuing progress in Canadian and American laws related to cannabis and cannabis-based products, there are still too many legal obstacles regarding their production and trade - after all, H/C still does not permit the manufacture of CBD, and U.S. federal law doesn't even permit interstate commerce in cannabis, much less commerce across the national borders. There is also the matter of international trade law (for example, maritime law) to consider - it's still quite restrictive with respect to cannabis.
So why not locate the whole operation in the more favorable political and legal climate of Ukraine? They provide the production and distribution capacity, and we provide the technical expertise and R&D. And when U.S., Canadian, and international laws become even more favorable - as they certainly will, especially if some of those multi-billion dollar American companies in Ukraine exert a little lobbying muscle in Washington - then CenBio will already have a full-blown Ukrainian operation to work from.
