The issue I have at this stage is the inability to demonstrate a processor that reliably functions in a manner that makes it commercially viable. I think that JB took it as far as he could and it didn't cut it.
So now they've employed the services of a third party to try to close the gap. That entity is reviewing the documents that were generated. Probably with a raised eyebrow given the founder's tenancy to paint his results with as positive a spin as possible.
They will determine if it makes any sense to try to take the technology forward. The longer it takes for the company to disclose the relationship with that engineering firm, the less likely that there was a positive outcome.
