Interesting piece of news, NOT related to CENBIO but shows how far ahead of others we are in the licensing process

As you may have seen in numerous media posts and publications Health Canada is extremely slow in processing inspections: www.ctvnews.ca/canada/approvals-slow-for-health-canada-medical-marijuana-licences 1.1986513
Natura Naturals/MCM Acres LTD was issued 1 of only 34 “Ready-to-Build” notifications from Health Canada and on January 27th we had immediately began implementing all the necessary installations required to progress to the next step of an actual “Licence to Produce”. With only 13 current Licensed Producers able to supply the Canadian market we are hoping our inspection will soon be conducted.
On 8 separate occasions Natura Naturals/MCM Acres LTD has requested from Health Canada a date for our inspection: March 1; April 30; May 9; May 14; June 2; June 11; July 17 and August 20th. Health Canada’s reply has been “We have received all of your information and the security checks are ongoing. However, your security clearances have not been obtained yet”.
I can assure you that they have received ALL of our personal clearances from the RCMP even though Health Canada has indicated they are waiting for further clearances from the RCMP.
Natura Naturals/MCM Acres LTD is in contact with numerous lawyers, security companies, industry providers and other applicants who received a “Ready-to-Build” and it appears that they are all receiving the exact same response from Health Canada.
