BCAP
My thoughts on Miami. Does anyone remember him compaining that he wasn't sure he should go and visit Matt? It was as if he was looking for people to beg him to go and visit and report back, as though it wasn't in his best interest to go and check on his investment. That struck me that day, why would this guy complain about the time out of his day to go and meet Matt? If he lives 20 minutes away, why wouldn't he go and visit BCAP before he started building an 80 million share position? I was and am always excited, tense, anxious when visiting the people that I invest in. I want to go and meet these people, see their facilities first hand, listen to them speak and get a feeling if this is a company that I want to put money into. When I was in Ft. Lauderdale on business, I snuck out to BCAP a day earlier than my appointment with Matt, to get my bearings, but also because I was/am excited to be a part of BCAP. I didn't sit on the board and complain about the cost out of my pocket or the time out of my day. I didn't look to a message board to give me any encouragment to do it. It was in MY best interest that I set up the appointment, and the reality is, I don't really care what some guy on a message board says. It was just really odd to me that a guy would look to a message board for encouragment to go to a meeting in a company that he has several thousand invested in. So, with that in mind, I was determined to find that post of Miami's the day of the cc and meeting, and review just exactly what he said. Lo and behold, Miami has had his posts from 2/24 through 3/7 deleted some how. Curious to say the least, almost two weeks of posts are gone. That begs the question, why?
We can sit and debate here or over there all day long on the potential of BCAP. Some say no bid, some say to the moon. If you are invested here, you are on the side of the potential moon trip. How many people have to say it, but never trust anyone on a message board. There's a lot of money in the stock market, and when there's a lot of money, you will always have snakes trying to scam you out of yours. Do your own dd, follow the developments and make your own decisions.
When I left the meeting with Matt in November, I certainly had a few doubts. I would have liked a bigger and nicer office, perhaps some decoration of some sort in the reception area, perhaps an owner that dressed a bit more professionally for an investor meeting, perhaps an office full of people bustling to get work done, perhaps an owner that spoke more eloquently. What I found was a guy with a ton of stock market experience that has identified a need in the market place and how to navigate through the filings and reports to keep his business and others current. I found a guy that has invested $500k in other business's that is expected to make gains of 10-20%. This was confirmed by Steve White when he stated he makes 18% minimum on his investments. I found a guy that doesn't really care about you and I, we are a means to an end for him, that's it. We are the investment capital he needs to make his vision come to life. If we want to buy into his vision and set the small cap investment world on end, buy some stock and hold it. If you want to listen to a guy that needs encouragement to go to a meeting with someone that he has invested several thousand in, so be it.
There's over a BILLION shares on the bid, somebody wants a piece of this action, and may go to great lengths to get those shares.
Personally, when I left teh meeting, I bought more stock using my phone from a parking lot of a Wendy's a block away from BCAP. You telling me Miami couldn't stop on the side of the road to put in a sell order with his phone? Also, he con't keep his cool long enough to get a tour of the facilities? To know for fact that there are servers and software to run the TA? Sure, the cc wasn't great, but you can't keep emotions in check long enough to verify what what you came to verify in the first place? And as far as the cc and the mention of possible r/s a/s increase, imo, Matt should not have said "never gonna be one" in the first place. In business you can't say never, because you never know. My take is he was just correcting his misspoken statement in the previous cc.
Long story short, we can debate and nit pick one another to death, but Matt Dwyer is the only one that will be able to move this stock price. Fins will be here shortly, and we should be able tot determine whether our investment is on solid ground or not.
