That's exactly right. The only reason anyone who might have been short would be desperate would be at the thought of paying all of that money in income taxes on their massive gains.
There are a lot of weird statements on these message boards. I'm not sure the Faithful and Patient even think whether what they're saying makes logical sense anymore.
