He contradicts himself constantly, avoids most responses that actually look into what hes saying. Just a punk really, has been trying to be the has. Rides on everyones coat tails. But very good at getting under peoples skin. Which doesnt do anything anymore. Price cant drop anymore so scaring away potential buyers just postpones the movement for now. Jackson Ritchie being Bahamas Seaways president is what Im thinking is our key. That guy has been involved in some big things and has been trying for a few years to start another route to bahamas after discovery cruise line discontinued there.
Some info on Jackson Ritchie
Quote:
Captain Ritchie has extensive experience in the shipping industry. He handled all of The Bahamas operation of Discovery Cruise Lines for 18 years He was a founding shareholder of MSC Bahamas Limited, which is the largest cargo carrier in The Bahamas and the primary customer at Freeport Container Port.
He pioneered the cargo operation for Seaboard Marine when it was Kirk Line, which at the time used Discovery Cruise Line for its cargo operation. He also pioneered the cargo business in The Bahamas for ACL, which is now a major shipping line between Ft. Pierce and Freeport and Nassau His shipping agency is an agent for major international container lines, such as CMA-CGM, Hamburg Sub and CSAV. He has also represented other major container lines such as Maersk, Seal and, China Shipping and several other lines.
Captain Ritchie has tremendous access to the highest levels within The Bahamas Government, which has signaled its preparedness to also provide marketing subventions for this venture. Once the full extent of the investment is delineated to the Government, it is quite likely that the benefits that were presently enjoyed by Discovery Cruise Line will be significantly augmented.
Captain Ritchie at one time owned the largest Customs Brokerage and Trucking company in The Bahamas and retains very strong relationships with the all of the major importers in Nassau and Freeport, including Bahamas Foods, Baha Mar, Hutchison, GBPA, Comcen, Bahama Rock, Restaurants Bahamas, and Heineken. He has executed an LOI to provide passenger and cargo services to Baha Mar, which has commenced a $3.4 billion tourism investment in Cable Beach.
And I guess while at it just a little summary of the Suzanna Epps spokeswoman
