The word “aeroponic” is derived from the Greek meanings of aero- (air) and ponos (labor). Unlike hydroponics, which uses a liquid nutrient solution as a growing medium and essential minerals to sustain plant growth; or aquaponics, which uses water and fish waste, aeroponics is conducted without a growing medium. Verde Science, Inc. (VRCI-OTCQB) a Medical Marijuana Research and Development Company, is pleased to announce the expansion of its Research and Development capabilities with the addition of its newest alliance partners, Dr. Ratnesh Jain and Dr. Prajatka Dandekar Jain, both of whom earned their Ph.D.'s in Pharmacology from the Institute of Chemical Technology, a Mumbai, India based University with a research focus along the entire spectrum of Chemical Engineering. Dr. Ratnesh Jain has investigated the development and design of novel drug delivery mechanisms which we believe will have significant applications in the nascent field of Medical Marijuana treatment. This could also be applied to clinical trials aimed at determining proper dosing and drug formulations for various specific medical issues.
Dr. Prajakta Dandekar Jain is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Institute of Chemical Technology. In addition to research into novel drug delivery systems, she has also focused much of her research on nanoparticles, which will have particular relevance in the study of medical uses of THC and cannabinoids, and nanoparticles of hemp.
