Canon Solutions America Hosts 2014 Customer Appreciation Events in Chicago

MELVILLE, N.Y., Sept. 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Canon Solutions America, Inc., a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., hosted two exciting customer appreciation events in Chicago, Illinois on September 29, 2014. The events were held at the Art Institute of Chicago and Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse and took place during GRAPH EXPO 14, an expo dedicated to all aspects of the printing industry.

Bringing together hundreds of Canon Solutions America customers to "the Windy City," along with esteemed analysts and third-party vendors, the celebratory events signified the company's continued appreciation of its valued relationships across the industry.

The first event was held in the Modern Wing of the renowned Art Institute of Chicago, one of the nation's leading and largest schools of art and design. During this event, Canon Solutions America's Production Print and Large Format teams, customers, and third-party vendors enjoyed a bright and vivid aesthetic, designed to emulate Canon U.S.A.'s overall GRAPH EXPO 14 theme of Enabling Creativity. This highlighted the innovative and artistic heights clients are able to achieve by taking advantage of the various features that Canon Solutions America services and production systems have to offer.

"The event's colorful and vibrant theme definitely presented a unique perspective," said Walter Kohn of Spectra Communications, a Canon Solutions America customer. It's fitting that it was held at the Art Institute, which is such an inspiring creative space to begin with."

The second gathering, known as the Enterprise Services and Solutions VIP Event, was hosted at the famous Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse. The restaurant's historical Chicago atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion, which featured a special appearance by legendary Chicago Bears safety Gary Fencik.

Both events were held following the second day of conferences at GRAPH EXPO 14, where leading manufacturers and suppliers in the graphic communications industry showcased their newly released products, technologies, and services. The goal of the events was to bring the printing community together and create a distinct sense of unity within all the different branches of the industry, and they successfully provided an opportunity to network with businesses and the printing community as a whole.

"We're extremely thankful for the events' large turnout," said Toyo Kuwamura, president and CEO of Canon Solutions America. "Our goal is to form a true community in the printing industry, in part by showing our appreciation to our customers and their growing businesses. It is through working together that we all become more successful."
