I saw a news report once that said USA beef cattle can have 17 different antibiotics in their system due to farmers using such to promote growth -not recognizing antibiotics kill good bacteria also w a need to promote good flora -and indicating those antibiotics can create havoc among humans
you science guys- how long do antibiotics remain in the system- the cattles flora will be altered long term but how long do the antibiotics themselves remain in the system?
dont know much about raising cattle for beef except the 'promote growth at any cost to the consumer' regimen -and goes for chicken etc also,but if ranchers somehow could avoid feeding antibiotics for say 2 or 3 months before sale would the effect on humans be largely ameliorated??
