(PINKSHEETS: LNGT) today announced that they have successfully completed their first full Contract Proposal in response to the US Marine Corps' (MARCORSYSCOM) Ocular Interruption (OI) Program. The OI Program, which Laser Energetics has been competing for over the last three years through demonstrations, conferences, invite-only events and testing, is a five-year IDIQ contract with a $49 million value, which is 100% set-aside for small business closing the door on any large businesses from responding. The goal of this procurement is to phase out and replace the currently fielded LA-9/P and Mini Green Laser systems. Laser Energetics has submitted its proposal to MARCORSYSCOM with its newly designed system called the Dazer Laser(R) GHOST (GHOST stands for Global Hostility Ocular Suppression Technology) which incorporates Automated Continuously Variable Divergence (TM), or A-CVD(TM). This order was received from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, another of the now 15 International Countries Foreign Militaries to order Dazer Laser(R) GUARDIANs. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has looked into Optical Distractor systems for integration into their Military and have decided to move forward with our Dazer Laser(R) GUARDIANs, after testing other types of Optical Distractor systems, to meet their mission critical requirements with non-lethal means.
