I agree too. Why not take the mayor out to eat: ground rules can be all fitx talk or zero fitx/business talk. This is the really great thing to do that BC should be doing. Indeed he has a great track record of schmoozing and winning people over.
Two cases in point of note. Ya'll remember anything about Chris Parry? Even he said something to the effect of 'I wonder why BC would ever have thought it necessary to placate such a low life as I' . 2nd case: AB. This guy was out there bashing FITX regularly on SA and Bill met with him and heard all of his concerns and answered all his questions in an honest way, and won him over with kindness and openness.
Not bashing ---but where is that Bill Chaaban today? I agree, Coffee, he should be meeting with these townspeople. Talking to them, and trying to win them over. Bill has a GREAT and successful Hx doing just this very thing. That's being pro-active. It's never too late to garner local support. If he fails then even the harshest critics would be muted to some degree.
Bill Chaaban is a real lion tamer. I just wish I knew why he is dragging his feet when his talents are so sorely needed. If he's afraid of bad publicity, meet confidentially, privately, personally, just a get to know you session. Going on too long ... We got a first class CEO. I just wish I knew more ... Very Long FITX and very Proud, too!
