Cannot speak to the first statement but his second

Mayor Bain is misquoting the value added designation and it was not the company who went in with those expectations of size and number of employees.
If he had said this he would have been correct.
Originally the company was going in with an eye to a larger scale operation on the current site but after reviewing our local regulations we informed the company they would be limited to 6000 square feet and five employee's per shift.
The company never once stated that size and employee number, it was the town. Mayor Bain just cannot get his facts straight. He was quoted as saying 60,000 square feet at one point and he was clearly wrong. Why he is speaking on behalf of council is beyond me. He is casting the company in a very bad light with that statement and is a complete misrepresentation of the true facts.
That statement by him is not at all accurate. Mr. Salmons or Mr. Foran would be better off speaking for the town but at this point that role will likely fall to their legal counsel.
Sorry, had to post as that statement is not at all factual. I'll go away now.
