Hello board friends. I will tell you that my new grandson has Down's Syndrome. Our first reaction was mad and sad but quickly realized God only sends special needs children to special people, and believe me, my daughter and her husband are special. Sally is fine now as she was in perfect physical condition. They also now realize they have been given something special and will love and care for him with all their heart and soul. Hideyhope and I have exchanged e-mails and she calls it serendipity (unexpected blessing). We know God doesn't make mistakes and he had this planned for a reason. He never promised us an explanation for all He does, just promised us if we believe in His son, Jesus Christ, we will all be together healthy, in Heaven one day for eternity. I hadn't planned to post anymore but life must go on, so we are getting better each day. Sometimes he sends us trials and tribulations to bring us closer to Him, and believe me, we have come closer to God than ever before. We don't ask for pity, just your prayers. All will be fine with God's help. JB
