"So Steve Russell got it all wrong?" If he were

If he were talking about HDPE, PP and LDPE, the hydrocarbon plastics which are the only plastics which PTOI is allowed to use by their permit then yes, Mr. Russell would have got it all wrong. Again, do the math.
If Mr. Russell is talking about all plastics in general to be used for a fuel, and please note that's entirely different than PTOI's current business plan, then we could investigate that further. As it is, he didn't specify and we're stuck with PTOI's problem that it's not possible to convert HDPE, PP and LDPE into a more valuable product...other than recycled plastic products which is what happens to them now.
Again, do the math. It's extremely simple. If you find any more people who you can work into pitting their credibility against the math then, rest assured, they will lose out to the math every time.
