bushman, I think a couple of our more sophisticated investors have answered what's going on with the Town Council -- a couple of local people complaining, politicians covering their asses, and the possibility of there being money floating around that's interested in us having problems. Who knows for sure? But I do think the majority of the citizens are in favor of us being there and bringing back jobs that have been lost. That is why we never heard much opposition before -- in fact we were welcomed by town officials -- and all of a sudden there are "issues." Suspicious, to say the least. I've lived in communities that size, and you usually know if someone farts on the other side of town. It's the talk of the day at the local diner.
And I think we've tried to make nice with Lakeshore, and the Q and A coming up is another attempt. But we're not going to be bullied by suspect interests. Bill is saying, "Stand up and show us what your issue is, or be still." He's just not trying to be too heavy-handed about it yet. Just my opinion, of course...

The report will center on the Federal Reserve's preferred inflation indicator, the Personal Consumption Expenses (PCE) index. The inflation rates have been declining recently, and this report should offer more proof of the slowing down of price rises. Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires economists polled for May expect the PCE ind... Continue Reading

This rise is the second month running that prices have increased significantly. An average 30-year fixed mortgage rate increa... Continue Reading
