DENVER, Sept. 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dividend Capital Diversified Property Fund Inc. ("DPF") today confirmed that Coastal Realty Business Trust ("Bidder"), an affiliate of MacKenzie Capital Management, LP, has commenced an unsolicited tender offer to acquire approximately 5% of the outstanding Class E shares of common stock of DPF at a price of $3.50 per share in cash. The offer is scheduled to expire on November 7, 2014.
Consistent with its fiduciary duties, DPF's Board of Directors will consider the tender offer and advise DPF shareholders of its recommendation. Such recommendation will be made no later than October 7, 2014, and will be furnished to shareholders and filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on a solicitation/recommendation statement on Schedule 14D-9.
Shareholders are urged to take no action with respect to the tender offer until DPF's Board of Directors makes its recommendation.
