It came to light at the July 15th meeting that a council member initially contacted Jim Shaban and asked if he would be willing to have an MMPR facility on his property. I believe the Lakeshore Town Council has been on our side since BEFORE day one. Even as far as deferring the zoning decision so we could get our license before any changes were ratified. They seem to acting in our interest but as public officials they have to bow to the opinions of their constituents. As far as this becoming a court battle I don't think they will want a light shining on how this has transpired. Delaying the issue of the license is going to create some ire in FITX.
