Used Industrial Pasta Machinery Now Available at Wohl Associates

BOHEMIA, N.Y., Sept. 23, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Wohl Associates of Bohemia, NY, specialists in used food processing and packaging equipment, has recently taken delivery of used industrial pasta machinery from Toresani and other well-known manufacturers. These include mixers, sheeters, and equipment for producing gnocchi and tortelloni.

The mixers include a portable 60 pound Toresani unit and a La Parmigiana mixer/extruder. With a 2.2 kW (5 HP) three-phase motor, the Toresani features a mixing tank that is 17" wide, 28" long and 23" deep that tilts for easy discharge. Ideal for smaller volumes, the castor-mounted La Parmigiana mixer/extruder has a hopper capacity of around 5 kg (11 pounds) and can be supplied with a large assortment of dies.

The two sheeters can both produce pasta in widths of up to approximately 12 1/2" (300mm). These machines are a Toresani SFA-300A Type 87614 and a Saima TG-300mm. The Toresani comes with a top-mounted hopper and is driven by a three-phase, 220V, 3.75 kW motor. Several dies are available for the versatile Saima, meaning it can be used for various pastas.

The used four-punch gnocchi machine from Toresani features a 3" diameter auger flour recycling system and twin screw feed. Maximum output is 300 pounds per hour and the machine requires a three-phase, 220V electrical supply.

Also made by Toresani is a compact MR/135 tortelloni machine. On casters for portability, this has a stainless-steel top-mounted hopper and an 8" wide output belt. A spare die for forming raviolette pasta is also included.

Interested buyers can view photos of these and other items of used industrial pasta machinery on the Wohl Associates website. If the precise item or items sought can't be seen on the website, buyers are advised to call to discuss their application with a product specialist. Sometimes other equipment will better suit a buyer's requirements. Alternatively, with their extensive knowledge of the market, Wohl Associates often knows when equipment is about to be offered for sale and can advise their customers accordingly.
