M2 - Fri Sep 05, 3:30AM CDT
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/4wbjz8/flame_retardant) has announced the addition of the "Flame Retardant Market by Type and End-User Industry - Global Trends & Forecast to 2019" report to their offering. The flame retardant chemicals market is anticipated to increase at a healthy rate annually, to reach $10,340 million, by 2019. The flame retardant chemicals market is witnessing high growth on account of rising demand from existing and new applications in differrent end-user industries that would become significant in the future, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. North America holds the second-largest market share followed by Europe and RoW. In terms of individual countries, the market is dominated by China. Flame retardant chemicals are primarily used in various end-user applications such as building & construction, electronics, automotive & transportation, wires & cables, textiles , and others. The use of flame retardant chemicals in electronics is growing at a high rate, followed by the wires & cables industry. The research and development cost involved in the flame retardant chemicals market in terms of man hours, material, and technology are significant. There is a lot of R&D required to develop new technologies that will help in reducing the cost of production. The growth in the flame retardant chemicals market requires constant innovation and the introduction of new and improved products and technologies that meet the requirements of the customers. This has contributed largely to an enhanced focus on R&D by the players to bring new products as well as to decrease the cost of production by implementation of new technologies. The raw materials used for the production of flame retardant chemicals include several products such as bromine, chlorine, aluminum, and phosphorus. Different types of flame retardant chemicals require their own set of raw materials and ingredients, as organophosphorus requires phosphorus and brominated requires bromine. Any change in the demand and supply of these raw materials can have an impact on the flame retardant chemicals industry. The increase in the price of raw materials force the manufacturers to increase the prices of their flame retardant chemicals products to stem the losses. Flame retardant chemicals are highly toxic and hazardous, so the companies have to face many government regulations for flame retardant chemicals production. Key Topics Covered: 1 Introduction 2 Executive Summary 3 Premium Insights 4 Market Overview 5 Market Analysis, Technical Flame Retardant Chemicals Requirement 6 Market Analysis, Regulatory Environment 7 Market Analysis, By Type 8 Market Analysis, By End-User Industry 9 Market Analysis, By Geography 10 Competitive Landscape 11 Company Profiles - Akzo Nobel N.V. - Albemarle Corporation - BASF Se - Bayer Materialscience - Chemtura Corporation - Clariant Ag - Dic Corporation - E.I. The global phosphorous fertilizer marketgenerated a value of $96.5 billion in 2012 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 2.4% by 2018. Phosphorus is an essential nutrient required for plant growth. It helps in root development, plant maturation, and seed development. Together with nitrogen and potassium, phosphorus is one of the most important elements for plant life. These features make phosphorus essential to maximize the production of grains and forage. Modern farming is dependent on the use of inorganic fertilizers that contain phosphorus. Commercial phosphate fertilizers are manufactured using phosphate rock. Approximately two- third of the worlds' phosphate resources are derived from sedimentary and marine phosphate rock deposits, and about 90% of the global phosphate rock demand is used for food production. Phosphorus is scarce and phosphate rock is a non-renewable resource. Market forces and political regulations may affect its availability. Global Agrochemicals Market Report 2014 - Forecast to 2018: Type, Fertilizer Type, Pesticide Type, & Sub-Types
M2 - Wed Feb 26, 8:58AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/trbc87/agrochemicals) has announced the addition of the "Agrochemicals Market by Type, Fertilizer Type, Pesticide Type, & Sub-types - Global Market Trends & Forecast to 2018" report to their offering. The global agrochemicals market in terms of revenue was estimated to be worth $195,829.9 million in 2012 and is expected to reach $242,757.8 million by 2018, growing at a CAGR of 3.6% from 2013 to 2018. The global agrochemicals market is witnessing growth on account of increasing demand of grains for both edible and industrial applications. On the basis of use, agrochemicals are of two types: fertilizers and pesticides. Both of these can be used for agricultural and non-agricultural applications such as lawns and ornamental use. The mode of action of both types differs from each other. The former provides nutrient to the plants by being absorbed by the plant roots. The use of fertilizers is essential to improve nutrient profile of the soil and increase per hectare production. On the other hand, pesticides control the growth of unwanted plants and diseases such as weeds, fungus, bacteria, insects, etc. It is used to protect the crops (whether standing or stored) from harmful pests. Thus, the use of both fertilizers and pesticides is very important to support the growing demand of crops. Asia-Pacific and Latin America dominate the global agrochemicals market demand in 2012. Asia-Pacific is expected to remain the largest market in the near future owing to the increasing demand for food crops from its key countries-China and India. Asia-Pacific dominates the global agrochemicals market, accounting for major share in overall consumption in 2012. Latin and North America remained second and third largest markets for agrochemicals. The nutrient demand for corn is highest among crops such as wheat, cotton, sugarcane, etc. Hence, its production in North America (for bio-ethanol production also) is expected to increase the demand of agrochemicals in the region. Tight environment regulations in Europe are making it difficult for the manufacturers to launch products that comply with the existing regulations. The use of agrochemicals in the region is mainly used for food application. As for other use such as bio-polymers and bio-fuel, high construction and un-favorable economic condition is creating complex situation for the manufacturers. Petrochemical Industry in Israel
M2 - Wed Aug 07, 3:16AM CDT
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/fqd4vz/petrochemical) has announced the addition of the "Petrochemical Industry in Israel" report to their offering. The Israel petrochemicals industry will suffer from a downturn in domestic industrial growth over the next few years. External demand for Israeli exports remained sluggish throughout 2012, particularly with the prospect of recession in the Eurozone, coupled with the still-weak outlook in China and the United States, the three main markets for Israeli chemical, plastic and rubber goods. Although faltering growth in key developed export markets will continue to weigh on the relatively large external sector, increasing diversification towards faster-growing emerging markets, as well as ongoing product specialization should lessen the constraint. But the petrochemicals industry in Israel is set for export-oriented growth in 2013, which should overcome the negative effects of government austerity measures on domestic consumption.
