people selling - my assumption would be those who read about the stock, it's potential when it's cheap but don't want to risk too much money. let's say they buy 500k shares at .50 and decide they only want 250k shares to hold and sell 250k when they double their investment so the remaining 250k shares is now free and their long term hold shares. one can play with the numbers anyway they want but that's one scenario. Now they have money to invest elsewhere or they use it to buy and sell on short term profit taking - day trading lite. buy a dip and sell at new short term high and greatly diminish their risk while making money along the way and still hoping their long term shares make that $50 goal.
