Barren as the Company's new Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Bruce brings more than 40 years of experience in directing public companies.
As previously announced Amazonas has been pursuing several initiatives for revenue growth in the fields of forest products and the preservation of the natural habitats and environment contained in company owned lands. The company is focused on building shareholder value through these initiatives that include enhancing the management team, funding revenue generating projects, growth through additional acquisitions, improved investor relations presence and the completion of requirements necessary for Amazonas to become a fully reporting and complaint entity.
The appointment of Mr. Barren represents the first step in this process and positions the Company under the qualified leadership needed to accomplish these initiatives.
Mr. Bruce W. Barren, CEO, stated, "I am very excited to have been given this opportunity. Amazonas has an excellent business plan and is poised to assume a positive position on the market and reach substantial business objectives. The company management has been restructured and our new team of proven and effective operators will now work together to achieve the companies projected organizational growth."
