Gary F. Kimmons is Chairman, President, CEO and founder of eDoorways International Corporation, Inc. Originally known as GK Intelligent Systems, Inc., Mr. Kimmons’ company created a key learning technology (“Smart One”) chosen as the United Nations Flag Technology for software. Gary’s company successfully associated the Smart One brand with other national brands including National Geographic, The Smithsonian, Radio Shack, AOL, and others. Mr. Kimmons established all of the business processes and services for the Company and took the Company to a $500 million market cap.
Mr. Kimmons has obtained several notable accomplishments throughout his career. He developed an award winning and patented learning software technology (Smart One). Mr. Kimmons won the Silver Medal at the New York Film Festival for an education film entitled “Making Whole.” The educational company he created, GK Intelligent Systems, was awarded top honors by the retailers of America.
Mr. Kimmons graduated from William Marsh Rice University with a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science and holds a masters degree in Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology/Rutgers.
Rick Henderson is an accomplished business executive with over 40 years experience in the telecommunications and information systems industries. He has experience with Fortune 50 companies as well as start-up and early stage companies and he has taken three companies through initial public offerings in 1992, 1995 and 2010.
In addition to his role as Director and Executive Vice President for Business Development at eDoorways, he is President and Director of Renewable Fuel Corp, (IPO 2010), and a partner in White Buffalo Ventures LLC in Austin. He has been a Director at Global Touch Telecom in Los Angeles, CEO of InternationalTalk.com, and President of Bestline Communications in Austin and Chief Operating Officer for MIDCOM Communications (IPO 1995) and WCT Communications (IPO 1992). Rick was President of AT&E Corporation (AMEX) an international wireless venture with Seiko Corporation and President of Sprint’s $450M Midwest Division in Chicago from 1986 to 1989. Prior to that, Rick was Vice President of GTE’s $1.2B Sprint division in 1985 with over 2000 employees reporting to him and with Xerox Corp. in both the copier and office systems businesses for 14 years where he helped launch technology developed at Xerox PARC such as the Ethernet, the Mouse and the Macintosh computer. He is a regular speaker at industry forums and organizations, where he is recognized for his ability to explain away the confusion of the high tech industry in terms that all of us can understand.
Rick is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a BS degree in Marketing, and has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Chicago Association of Commerce and Industry, the Northern Illinois University Foundation and the San Marcos TX Telephone Company. Rick and his wife Barbara reside in Austin and they have three grown children.
Robert B. Wesson, Ph.D., has served as CEO and/or CTO of 7 successful start-up companies, including Wesson International, Inc. that merged with Adacel Technologies Ltd. of Melbourne, Australia ( ADA on ASX or AELTF.PK ) to became the world’s preeminent supplier of over $100M worth of air traffic control training simulators to the U.S. Air Force, Federal Aviation Administration, Eurocontrol, and universities around the world; Real Thing Entertainment Ltd. , an artificial intelligence company building the world’s first truly intelligent toy and government-funded speech-to-speech translators; and VoiZapp Inc. that in less than one year released eight iPhone apps enabling users to speak with their social media friends using Siri-like speech recognition on Facebook, Twitter, and email. Dr. Wesson graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in mathematics from the University of Texas, received his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, and spent his early career with the RAND Corporation, a think tank dedicated to solving the world’s most intractable problems.
Throughout his career, he has been tapped to turn around troubled situations, envision and develop new products, and integrate cutting-edge technology into existing product lines, notably specializing in award-winning speech recognition and visual interfaces. Bob has a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, USA. He is also a licensed instrument-rated pilot and blue-water yacht captain.
As Chief Financial Officer at eDoorways, Chris is responsible for leading the finance and administration teams and providing strategic and operational leadership as a member of the executive leadership team.
Chris has extensive leadership expertise and experience, particularly in the technology industry. He founded Mitchell Consulting Group, LLC in 2011, a financial strategy and management consulting firm located in Austin, Texas. He founded the firm after serving three years at the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation as the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to the Foundation, he spent fourteen years at Dell, Inc. where he held several senior management roles most recently serving as Director of Finance and Web Analytics of dell.com . Prior to Dell, Inc., he worked in public accounting at KPMG and a local Austin based public accounting firm. Chris holds a bachelor of business administration in accounting from the Texas State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
