HOUSTON, Sept. 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BMC Software announced today that Leon Stevens has joined the company as the vice president for its Remedyforce product line in EMEA.
Based in the UK, Stevens brings 20 years of senior experience in the software and services industry to BMC, in addition to leading and building sales teams with blue chip companies such as Salesforce.com, CA Technologies, IBM, HP and Symantec.
Most recently, he was senior vice president and general manager for the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions at Thunderhead.com, where he led a staff of field sales, technical services and customer support staff, while coordinating the supporting business functions in the region. Responsible for growing the SaaS business into global markets, the EMEA and APAC regions achieved considerable growth expansion under his leadership.
Earlier in his career, Stevens rose to the rank of vice president, Financial Services, Banking and Insurance for Salesforce.com in the UK.
