BevMo! Announces New Independent Chairman CONCORD,

CONCORD, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 18, 2014) - BevMo !, the ultimate neighborhood specialty beverage retailer, today announced that Cathy Stauffer has joined BevMo! as independent chairman of its board of directors. Ms. Stauffer brings more than 30 years of experience building successful businesses and strong brands, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

Ms. Stauffer is an accomplished leader and a marketing, branding, retail and consumer technology expert. She joins BevMo! as the owner of her own consulting firm, Cathy Stauffer Consulting, which she has owned and operated since June 2005. Ms. Stauffer also currently serves as an independent director on the board of FLIR Systems ( NASDAQ : FLIR ) and is on the board of advisors for SnowFury Studios.

Previously, she was executive vice president of Premier Retail Networks, a Technicolor-owned digital media and content company that partnered with many of the largest retailers in the United States. Prior to that Ms. Stauffer served as chief marketing officer for Gateway Computers, a global personal computer OEM and consumer electronics direct marketer. She also served in multiple leadership capacities, including president of The Good Guys, Inc., a regional consumer electronics specialty retailer, and oversaw the completion of The Good Guys and Comp USA merger for Grupo Carso.
