I know the problem, answer, and solution.
Timing is everything.
On VSTH it was a 750k dollar buy order by Steve followed by a 250k dollar bid placed me. They shorted it from 85 cents down to 59 cents one day. Then they put 1m on the ask .65. Steve took the million out and I followed 300k on the bid at .70. The we proceeded to hit the ask .71 .72 all the way up to .75.
The stock exploded before we could finish off the .75's. They covered costing them about quarter of a million that day as the stock rose over a buck. Every situation is different but confirms they'll play games to me. Mind you we wanted the opportunity to buy those shares. Each case is different.
Forget about the lawyer. That shorting originates from another country. Notice the F's on symbols of the Market Makers. F usually means foreign.
