Sure...but at PTOI, the same guy is still behind the 'technology' and the insiders very recently still hid the fact that the plant was out of commission for six months. Wouldn't it be wise to ask the company for some evidence that the process is now commercially viable??
"As for the scrap plastic prices, I don't think that you even know what scrap plastic is worth. Looking on the internet means nothing."
As you've mentally determined that the price of scrap plastic is cheaper than anything the bad internet might say, you've done your due diligence. Good luck with that.
Sorted plastic, which is needed per the PTOI's permit, is around $0.40/lb...or $800/ton. You don't believe it since plastic is routinely landfilled. Is that because you can't see that it would cost that much to collect sorted plastic?? Collect 10 lbs of any type of plastic, that's roughly 80 plastic milk jugs, and you'll have about $4 worth. Then take a guess at the labor involved.
Regarding Mr. Bordynuik's legal issues, they often point to Mr. Bordynuik being highly dishonest. If you want to still trust that he has a commercially viable process while he sits, smiles, collects your money and offers no evidence that he has anything of value, that's your choice. Good luck. I don't mind if you invest so please don't feel you need to defend your choice to invest. Go right ahead.
