Re site #1 and #2. This is what I know to be true

Site #1 - informed the town of their intention to file an application with Health Canada to grow medical mj which we know has been done.
Have filed a zoning amendment application to have the Value Added designation amended.
Site #2 - informed the town of their intention to file an application with Health Canada. It has not been publicly announced they have done so but with the amount of work being done/has been done, they likely are in the process. I don't know if the requirements for hemp, since it is grown outdoors as opposed to indoors, are as stringent because of the low TCH content of hemp (0.03%?). A Ready To Build and security provisions might be different. I do not know.
As you implied with the value added designation for this site, a zoning amendment application will be required unless the new zoning amendment proposals make this unncessary, and it might given its location and the fact before it was a horse surgery/vet. As of June no application had been submitted to the town but might now have been. That would be a good question for the open house.
Just to double check when you say bldg 2 do you mean site 2 or the new building on site 1? Just to make sure we are on the same page.
