LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., Sept. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- J.D. Hutt Corporation ("JD Hutt" or the "Company") (Pink Markets: JABA), today announced that it has entered into a contract in the sustainable apparel industry.
In May 2014, the Company announced that it had hired a new CEO, George Powell, and that its business was changing to the sustainable apparel industry. In less than three months, the Company has signed a new agreement and the apparel is already in production. The items will be delivered to the customer in early September 2014.
"We're excited to have signed our first contract for JD Hutt," commented George Powell. "It is with a large company and is a private-label product which will carry their brand name and logo. The customer has indicated that they have plans to move forward with a more substantial sustainable product offering in the near term. The speed with which we have signed this contract indicates the willingness of customers to engage in this new business model of sustainable apparel. Our ability to produce a wide range of sustainable and quality products is an asset to the Company's new direction. Our customer base will expand and allow us to reach critical mass in production and revenues as we introduce sustainable products into a wide array of companies."
The Company will be changing its name to Green Star Apparel to reflect the new line of business. The formal change will occur once all filings and approvals are completed.
