In response to a 10% tax liability imposed by Egypt on dividends and capital gains from investments in Egyptian issuers, Market Vectors(R) Egypt Index ETF (NYSE Arca: EGPT(R)) and Market Vectors(R) Africa Index ETF (NYSE Arca: AFK(R)) will begin accruing for such tax effective July 18, 2014, it was announced today.
