This order expands the footprint of the CMU-2100 deployment across much of the Northeast Corridor, providing proven interoperability between onboard, wayside base stations, and back office locations.

The CMU-2100 family of communications management units features integrated command, control, and information management for communicating critical Positive Train Control (PTC) messaging with flexibility, precision, and efficiency. The CMU-2100 solution also provides a platform for messaging system interoperability between ACSES and I-ETMS PTC systems, and is scalable to support multiple wireless paths and diverse radio systems.
