( http://www.visual-2000.com ) announces that Canadian outdoor retailer Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) has selected its Product Lifecycle Management solution. MEC is planning to use a phased-in approach to implement the Visual PLM.net solution to manage all aspects of the brand manufacturing process for MEC brand apparel and hard goods products.
MEC maintains a hands-on approach to design and manufactures products that are functional, durable and of a high quality. In order to facilitate this strategy for the longer term, it was critical that MEC deploy an integrated solution to replace the multiple-siloed approach to data management and reporting.
