Good Post Maynerd..I too have my frustrations with Mark; however, I have emailed him and he has personally answered with what I would rate as a legitimate response. My threshold for financial pain is probably greater than most as I have not endangered money necessary for my day to day living expenses, in fact i could lose it all and still live quite nicely.
In pennyland the rewards can be enormous, but they can also totally be nonexistent. I play 8-10 microcaps at a time and I am quite happy if 3 0f the bnch make it to profitsland.
For my household, even a total loss has about 50 cents on the dollar value when you consider the tax benefits of a loss.
One thing I am fretting over right now is the potential change in the long term capital gains tax at year end as we may go over the fiscal edge de to Washington DC.
Many investors may elect to sell before to get the lower rate and buy back in after the 30 day rule to avoid wash sale rules.
