All is quiet here so far. Same thing on another website covering USEI. It's odd, given that we're benefiting from a sizable bounce. Or---is it?
I'm thinking that without antagonists we protagonists don't have that much to say. Maybe we're nothing without the usual bashers kicking us around?
That's frightening but it may actually be the smart way to view this moment in the eye of a storm where the winds are calmer. Having lived through many hurricanes and been the recipient of a sizable cash award from FEMA after Hurricane Ike about six years ago, I can tell you that the mind of a storm is never to be trusted. Give it time and it will swallow you up in your foolishness only to come back swinging harder than ever.
For the moment the bashers have won as evidenced by the sparseness of posts here and elsewhere. But the dirty side of the storm is yet to reappear. When it does, I hope we will all gather together here. Together we comprise a formidable force not to be deterred by the likes of wolves in sheep clothing. And rest assured---they will come here. And continuity and I will do all we can to protect our safe haven.
