As it has been said so many times in the past, Baltia is subject to the FAA's schedule.
It can be said that the FAA has been very co-operative with the Baltia staff during this certification process, but it can also be said that they will NOT allow Baltia to cut any corners or skip any steps.
Baltia is going to get certified and the certification is going to be done RIGHT.........no ifs, ands, or buts.
It make drag out longer than any of us cares for, but the FAA holds the public's safety as Job #1.
Once the FAA has exhausted everything at their means to ensure that Baltia will be a shining example of an American Based safe-to-fly airline, then Baltia will receive its certificate.
All that being said, IMHO, I believe proving flights will now begin somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd week of October.
Safety First.
With that in mind, delays are always inevitable.
