It is obvious that many that post on this board have never been in corporate management or owned a business/corpration as anyone who has had that experience knows it's all about " CASH FLOW ", it is the most dominant factor in any business.
A competent business owner/manager will always age the debt, a concept called working on OPM (Other Peoples Money) paying at the last opportunity so as to preserve the corporate working capital. Late fees/penalties are just part of the transaction, just as any newly imposed fees or penalties dreamed up by the incompetent legislators in all of our state governments and the federal government. These costs of doing business is just passed along to the consumer. Do you for even one second believe that new gasoline taxes imposed say on the trucking industry are absorbed by the trucking company or are they just factored into the $/lb/mile fee for transport costs paid by the shipper, who inturn builds that increased cost of doing business into the product cost, etc, etc.
The buying public ends up with the bill and has to pay to play.
To bad I have to waste my one post per day on such a fundamental business policy.
Oh Well, for the greater good. "
