Xinergy Ltd. (the "Company"
(TSX: XRG), a Central Appalachian coal producer, today announced that the Company had a net loss of $(9.1) million, or $(0.14) per diluted share for the second quarter ended June 30, 2014. This is compared with a net loss of $(9.4) million, or $(0.17) per diluted share for the second quarter of 2013. The Company had a net loss of $(20.9) million, or $(0.35) per diluted share for the six months ended June 30, 2014. This is compared with a net loss of $(11.3) million, or $(0.21) per diluted share for the six months ended June 30, 2013. Second quarter 2014 adjusted EBITDA was $(0.4) million compared with $(2.1) million for the second quarter 2013. For the six months ended June 30, 2014 adjusted EBITDA was $(3.9) million compared with $(5.7) million for the six months ended June 30, 2013.
