Look, some of those posters over there will NEVER listen to reason - they have other motives in mind. They are only asking him questions so they can take his answers and distort the meaning in an effort to drive the PPS down. They know, from experience, that posting the kind of trash they post, is effective to their end game. None the less, Steve responded to their slanted questions, knowing I think, full well that they were being asked in order to be used against him later.
This is exactly my point. There was never going to be a "converting of the heathen" taking place here. However, at the same time, there were those here, myself among them, that had serious questions relating directly to our investment, both current and ongoing, and the CEO chose the "lion's den" over the shareholder base.
I gave the benefit of the doubt, until such time as I was afforded the opportunity to directly question his motivation and intention in pursuing the avenue that he did. (And, FWIW, a simple mea culpa would have sufficed). The response I got made me feel like I was 1) wrong to ask in the first place, 2) that converting a "Rich" was more important than retaining a "finishsuper", and 3) he would continue this practice ongoing.
I don't care how successful an individual or his company is, or can be. Once I feel that that individual is more on an ego trip than on "taking care of family first", my cardinal rule of investing is simple: GET OUT.
I only replied here because you made a blanket statement that investors left on the basis of PPS alone. In my case that is not true, therefore, I posted my opinion and position. Nothing more, nothing less. And, in all reality, this discussion is not helpful to some who are on the fence, or in a pit of despair, yet, I feel compelled to reply when I receive responses such as I am getting here.
I'm not the bad guy for making a decision about my position here. Anyone and everyone has the right to buy when they see fit and sell when they see fit. It is not a moral decision or character quality either way.
Again, best of luck.
