"I just talked to William Swalm at IR.
- "We have been inspected by Health Canada, there are no hurdles for us at this time. TWEED took about six weeks to get their license, so we are right about on track with that".
- The license is not dependent on the town hall Q&A, it is a sign of good will. The only hold up with the license is processing. They thought that the PR was a good hint for us while we wait out the bureaucracy of the processing.
- Site two is for hemp and R&D, look for the first hemp crop in early 2015, licensing for hemp is not stringent like it is for for marijuana.
According to Mr. Swalm, it is likely that Hemp Technologies should be including in the next reported financials. Merger is being worked on and it is important to reach the first big milestone before they can come public with information regarding the merger.
I asked him about the possibilities of processing CBD's in other countries, and he said that each country has different laws in that regard, that is why Bill has been traveling so much. He specifically said that the Ukraine is big with hemp and hemp seeds, in fact he lead me into it when I asked about if we are actively processing the CBD's in New Zealand.
It's funny Mr. Swalm said that "Bill has a temper at times", probably because of phone calls like this."
As always, take this with a grain of salt, but it is nice to hear this iterated, even if it has become a bit redundant.
