We are focused on the rapidly growing medical marijuana industry. Twenty states have legalized medical marijuana and two states have legalized recreational marijuana.
According to Ibis World, the sector will generate $2B in revenue. The sector is estimated to grow to $10B in the next five years. Ibis World estimates that there are approximately 1.3 million people employed by the sector and over 1.1 million small business.
Over the next five years we expect there to be an explosion of new businesses, followed by a consolidation in each subsector.
Correspondingly, we intend to grow as new merchants enter the market because of enabling legislation, and as merchants increase their retail sales, we expect to providemerchant services, business advisory services credit, and finally we intend to provide financing solutions through proprietary crowd funding platforms.
