Stock futures lower; home sales, Beige Book ahead
Costco, Express, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters up in premarket
MADRID (MarketWatch) — U.S. stock-market futures 
fell on Wednesday, with investors on edge over concerns that fiscal-cliff negotiations are running into difficulties.
Economic news could provide a small distraction, with new-home sales data and the Federal Reserve’s Beige Book on tap.
