As I said, Bill was partially correct. What he failed to grasp was the fact the site had a value added component to it limiting processing. He felt what he was doing was not processing, and fair play to him for assuming that, but the town seems to not agree and media statements made by town officials have made this clear. I believe what made it an issue was several applicants applying and the town wishing, as they made in their mission statement which is available on the town website, to control such actitivities for the greater good. If the town had not initiated these new bylaws, the company already had applied to removed the limiting component from that site. The new bylaws are a red herring and actually, if after the new plans are unveiled, that site may well fall within the towns medical mj plans and the company may not have to apply at all to have it changed. It is all an interesting dance at this time but I feel the company will eventually win the day and go into production.
