NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2014) - Atlantic recording artist Vance Joy has announced today's release of his much anticipated debut album. "DREAM YOUR LIFE AWAY" -- which includes the worldwide #1 hit single, "Riptide" -- is available now in stores and at all online retailers.
This week will see Vance Joy celebrating the release of "DREAM YOUR LIFE AWAY" with an array of promotional events and concert appearances, beginning tonight with a special performance airing live on SiriusXM's The Spectrum channel at 8:30 PM ET from New York City's Studio at Webster Hall. Next up, the Australian tunesmith -- who spent his summer lighting up such festivals as Chicago's Lollapalooza, Montreal's Osheaga Music & Arts Festival, and San Francisco's Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival -- will make his US late night television debut with a performance on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers , set for tomorrow, September 10 th (check local listings). Thursday, September 11 th , will see Vance Joy performing a free show as part of Boston's Radio 92.9 Copley Concert Series at Copley Square, set for September 11 th , followed by an appearance at the Radio 104.5 Summer Block Party at Philadelphia's Festival Pier at Penn's Landing on September 13 th . As if that weren't enough, VH1 named Vance Joy one of their "You Oughta Know: Artists on the Rise" for the month of September. Since its launch in 2005, VH1's " You Oughta Know" franchise has introduced promising new artists on the rise and served as a barometer for what and who's hot in music today.
