Human Capital Institute Shares Details of 2014 Talent Acquisition Innovation Forum

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 3, 2014) -   The Human Capital Institute (HCI) , the global institution for strategic talent management, today announced details of the 2014 Talent Acquisition Innovation Forum . This two-day event, designed to connect attendees with the strategies and solutions that can facilitate their talent acquisition practices, will take place Thursday, December 11 through Friday, December 12, 2014 at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco, Calif.

As talent acquisition continues to become more competitive, organizations must be able to recognize the latest innovations in mobile and social technologies to remain ahead of the hiring curve. Yet, keeping on top of the latest trends and understanding how new solutions and techniques can transform talent acquisition can be a challenge for many organizations. As employers look toward their 2015 hiring plans, HCI's Talent Acquisition Innovation Forum is designed to provide attendees with the latest insight on the most innovative practices for talent acquisition to stay ahead of the competition and find the right people for their organizations.

The event will focus on three key areas, the first of which involves innovation in the candidate experience. With more than half of candidates now searching for jobs via their mobile devices, companies must leverage technology to provide an optimal candidate experience in order to attract top talent. The forum will also explore best-in-class social sourcing and how the latest social tools and technologies offer new ways of finding talent through social recruiting, talent communities and various recruiting platforms. The third main focus will be on how investing in the right talent acquisition technology can lead to better and faster hiring.

The 2014 Talent Acquisition Innovation Forum will present this insight via informative case studies highlighting how other organizations have had positive results with their talent acquisition tools and approaches. In addition, the event will feature engaging keynotes from executives who will share first-hand experience of their companies' successes in implementing new talent acquisition strategies. Keynotes will be delivered by Jason Phillips, vice president, Recruitment and HR Operations for Kaiser Permanente; Jill Riopelle, head of Recruiting for Airbnb; Lori Hawthorne, head of National Talent Acquisition for Razorfish; and Matt Kaiser, employer branding and social media specialist for Ericsson.

"As innovative, new solutions designed to enhance the talent acquisition function continue to saturate the market, employers must be able to identify the tools and technologies that deliver the most value and bring positive transformation to their hiring strategies," said Carl Rhodes, HCI's chief executive officer. "With more candidates turning to social media and their mobile devices to find opportunities, employers must keep pace and adopt the strategies that help them connect with today's talent. Our 2014 Talent Acquisition Innovation Forum will illustrate how leading employers have utilized these latest solutions to achieve talent acquisition success and ensure they supply their organizations with right-fit talent."
