CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Sept. 2, 2014) - Shaw Communications Inc. ("Shaw") (TSX:SJR.B)(NYSE:SJR) today announced that it has closed its previously announced acquisition of ViaWest, Inc. ("ViaWest") from Oak Hill Capital Partners and other shareholders for an enterprise value of US$1.2 billion.
