Here is a decent article about Volatlity futures from The Tycoon report...

What I am gathering from this article is that VIX futures suggest that the market feels like it is going up.  The problem is that the volatility can stay at these levels for months.

I may need to roll my June VXX 18 Calls if it gets close to expiration and I am down still.
