I've read your posts, you're a smart guy so you know why they "hired" a firm to audit the fins, etc. It's because they forged scam partnerships and hired a scam auditor to continue to scam everyone and everything so that those naughty Foley boys can continue with their scam of all scams, the NP-'prototype scam'1. It's only his sentence that he's appealing. He fully admits to the crimes of which he was accused.
Even if the 9th Circuit reduces his sentence to probation (while he far less guilty accomplice Dadonna got actual prison time, his fault for not having the money for a fancy lawyer), the conviction will still stand.
