It's only his sentence that he's appealing. He fully admits to the crimes of which he was accused.
Even if the 9th Circuit reduces his sentence to probation (while he far less guilty accomplice Dadonna got actual prison time, his fault for not having the money for a fancy lawyer), the conviction will still stand.

Where do people get the impression that NTEK is a technology company? They don't even try to tell people they're a technology company any more, not really.
